Huawei announced that its pretty awesome MediaPad tablet will now ship with preloaded Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Moreover, the Chinese company also unveiled new MediaPad color series, which will be available in three colors: shadow black, classic brown and passion pink. What’s strange though is that these differently colored versions will initially be offered with Android 3.2 Honeycomb even though the hardware remains the same.

Speaking of hardware, the Huawei’s tablet rocks a 7-inch 1280×800 pixels screen, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Wi-Fi and optional 3G connectivity, rear and front-facing cameras, 1080p full HD video playback support, and a battery that provides enough juice to keep the MediaPad running for 6 hours or more (depending on the use).

Personally I think MediaPad is the slickest 7-inch tablet out there and I’m seriously thinking to get one. But then there’s Sammy’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 which doesn’t let me “push the button” that easily… ;)
