Another World for Android coming soon

After successful launch in the Apple AppStore, DotEmu announced that it will port Another World to Android. The company that’s specialized in bringing retro games back to life hopes that the Android community will love the legendary game as much as their iOS counterparts did.

If you don’t know what Another World is all about, you should know it was originally released on Amiga in 1991, then ported to many other platforms over the years, eventually making it a cult video game… If you need more information, you can consult the game’s official page at Wikipedia.

As expected, the Android version will too (like the iOS one) come with polished graphics (when compared to the original title) and touchscreen controls. Moreover, players will be able to switch between original and HD graphics using a simple gesture, and enjoy fully remastered music and sound effects. Finally, there are 3 difficulty modes as well as unlockable achievements through OpenFeint…
