Remember the Vintage Camera app we talked about a month ago? Well since then it has hit and surpassed 3 million downloads in the Apple AppStore, which is an impressive figure. Moreover, the free version has reached the #1 most downloaded app of all free apps in iTunes Japan and iTunes Thailand during Christmas holidays, and has climbed up the “Top Free Downloads” in many other countries.
As a reminder, this little app will effectively turn your iPhone into a genuine vintage camera, featuring retro design inspired by cameras from the last century. Not only can you take new photos that look like they were shot 50 years ago, but you can also apply filters to the existing ones. There are a number of “vintage” effects to choose from, each of which looks pretty awesome.
And once you take and re-make your photos, you can browse them from the built-in roll gallery (looks cool, too) and share the ones you want with your e-buddies and followers on Facebook and Twitter…
