Two of the largest social networks, Facebook and LinkedIn, updated their Android apps. First comes the new member of the stock exchange, which app got some handy new features, including:
- New easier navigation – with a single press you can get to your groups, apps, pages, and settings
- Improved search that now allows you to look through friends, subscribers, apps and pages
- Ability to see your friends tags on pictures and zoom
- Faster notifications – real-time alerts with new push notifications
- Play games and access your favorite apps on the go
- Access to mobile timeline
- Access to friend lists and subscriptions
In comparison, LinkedIn’s app got a much smaller update, adding the ability to share profiles with anyone in your network or via email from any member profile. Additionally, there are some under the hood bug fixes that were affecting Android 4.0 users — i.e those of you with the Galaxy Nexus…
