Rypple, the web-based social performance management platform, is going beyond the iPhone, having launched a version of its mobile app for the Android platform. Using the free to download application, managers and employees can align themselves around social goals, recognize great work right when it happens, and stay connected while in meetings or on the road.

Some of the Rypple app features include:

  • Public recognition – with your (manager’s) message appearing on a colleague’s individual Rypple profile as part of their portfolio of accomplishments.
  • Real-time feedback – Rypple captures all feedback in one place, so it’s easy for managers to get a snapshot of employee.
  • Social Goals – allows employees and managers to track their priorities and update their progress against key objectives in real time.

Now although the app itself is available as a free download, Rypple is a freemium service. There’s a basic service which is free; Premium – that costs $5-per-user-per-month and includes access to Rypple’s real-time peer feedback, one-on-one coaching, and recognition applications; and Phenomenal that for $9 per-user-per-month adds Rypple’s rapid performance review application, Loops, Social Goals 2.0, and extensive support, rollout, and integration into existing company work systems…
