LG has started sending out invitations for its press event at Mobile World Congress. The image you can see above is everything but revealing, leaving us pondering (and speculating) what the Korean company will be announcing in Barcelona.

If I had to bet that would be the LG Optimus LTE, which is still not available on the Old Continent. Or perhaps, they’ll launch an HSPA+ version of the device that can sing along a majority of European networks and offer the LTE model only in places where that makes sense, like let’s say Germany, where the first LTE smartphone has been recently unveiled – HTC Velocity 4G.

We’ll make sure to visit LG and get back to you with all the latest information about their shiny new products. And yes hope to see them launching some other phones too (a quad-core one?), and maybe a new tablet. We don’t have any inside information, but hey – we can hope. ;)
