As part of the process to build momentum for its version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Sprint is organizing Data Storm Sweepstakes, giving away Ice Cream Sandwich phones to 30 lucky winners. Pretty much every U.S. citizen can test his/her luck and enter the contest either online (via PC or phone), by sending a postcard, or by playing the Data Storm mobile game. You can get all the details on what it takes to participate and who exactly is eligible to join the contest from a dedicated website. The contest ends on April 5, so we guess about that time the Now Network will start accepting Galaxy Nexus contracts.
Again, Sammy’s phone will be the first LTE-enabled device in Sprint’s portfolio and will most likely be offered for $299 on a two-year contract. Just like the original Galaxy Nexus, it too will pack a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, front-facing one for video calls, NFC support, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display and 32GB of built-in memory. And if you’re still not sure what to expect from Sprint’s Galaxy Nexus, proceed to this page to check our hands-on post.
