Guess who’s moving to higher realms of the smartphone market? Alcatel! No they’re not out with a quad-core device, not even a dual-core one, but a decent single-core model with a 4.3-inch WVGA screen and Qualcomm’s processor clocking at 1.4GHz. In addition, the newly announced One Touch Ultra 995 also packs a 5-megapixel camera on the back, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth, and many other familiar acronyms like HSDPA, HDMI, Wi-Fi, GPS and DLNA; plus a memory card slot.
No word when this baby will be released, nor which markets will get it. Similarly, we don’t know the launch date… though I guess not many of you want this particular smartphone that bad… If we hear something new on this, we’ll let you know, k? Stay tuned in the meantime…

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
