Google released an updated mobile app for Windows phone devices, adding few cool features to the mix.
First of all, there’s Autocomplete, offering search predictions as you type. This in turn, will give you results faster, making you spend less of your precious mobile data.
Then there’s Voice Search, which removes the need to type your query. Simply tap the microphone icon and say what you want to find.
Finally, Google for Windows Phone can now access your location to provide you with nearby results. For location-specific queries this will save you a ton of time — you don’t actually care about coffee shops and Italian restaurants in other States – all you want to know is which one of them can serve you.
The Google app is a free download from Windows Marketplace and it is available in few languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German.
