Quickoffice, the company behind one of the most popular mobile office apps, unveiled Quickoffice ProSelect HD for iOS-based devices, which [app] is customized to meet the needs of enterprise mobile users. As such, the application is not available to everyone; rather it can be obtained from Apple’s App Store Volume Purchasing for Business program, with tiered purchase levels beginning at 50 users and include maintenance and support for a year.
The main thing of the ProSelect HD is an extra layer of security that includes both native iOS data encryption and configurable features to sing along enterprise data protection requirements.
An advanced configurable file manager with comprehensive mobile office document editing and integrated cloud services collaboration also come included, providing device-based encryption as well as the ability for IT departments to manage features like email, cloud storage access, social media file sharing and Wi-Fi PC file sharing. Moreover, ProSelect HD includes Quickoffice’s SaveBack feature that enables secure editing of files accessed via selected cloud service providers and/or applications which access network file storage…
In a nutshell, if you’re an iPhone or iPad mobile worker at a big company, you may get Quickoffice ProSelect HD. Otherwise, just forget about it – your data is already safe enough… me thinks so.
