Mobile social messaging service textPlus is going beyond iOS and Android powered devices with a brand new app made for Windows Phone. Still in beta, the Windows Phone app too (just like iPhone and Android versions) provides users with a free phone number to start texting their friends on textPlus at no cost worldwide and free to any US or Canadian mobile number. In addition, there are several handy features available only for Microsoft’s mobile platform:
- Live Tiles – you can pin the app, important conversations (both 1:1 and group) and communities to your home screen.
- Personalization – select the theme color you want to “make the app all your own.”
- Panorama – unique view that provides a visually striking and engaging dashboard which is easy to navigate, while displaying your conversations, friends and communities in one place.
And if you haven’t heard about textPlus before, you should know it’s one of the most popular mobile apps with more than 25 million downloads. Moreover, textPlus users have sent over 27 billion messages sent to date, with 3 billion messages sent last month alone.
