It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like the new iPad is finally upon us today and judging by reviews, it’s another hit for Apple. Don’t you wish you could just skip the lines and save on the hundreds of dollars to get one of those fancy Apple tablets? Well, thanks to IntoMobile and our friends at Glyde, you can win a black 16GB Wi-Fi iPad right now.

I mentioned Glyde in my article of places to sell your iPad in order to help finance purchasing the new iPad. Unlike some of the competition, when you sell a product on Glyde, you’ll put it up for sale in its online marketplace where everyone will see it. You can even share the products you currently have for sale either through Facebook or Twitter, and the process is super simple.

I use Glyde on a daily basis to sell my used games, books, and I even sold my iPhone 4 on there and I’ve always enjoyed the service, especially since they ship me a padded envelope when I sell a product. I just drop it in, seal it up, mail that sucker out and then watch the money pile up.

How to make full use out of an app I haven’t heard of yet? Hmmm. Well. That’s a tough question! Knowing what it does, I would probably first use the app to sell some textbooks I no longer need (whoo for being done with college) and to sell some odd games here or there, probably. For my less tech-savvy friends, I would carry the iPad with me and get theirs sold or traded in as well. Knowing my level of dorkiness, I would probably also start talking to students waiting in long lines on campus, showing them the app on the beautifiul screen, and tell them we could scan in their books now, get a better value than the campus bookstore (and neighboring book trade-in places) and get an envelope shipped right to them! Of course, not know exactly how the app works, I can’t exactly say if it would ship right to them, or if I would have to show them how to download the app, and guide them through the process. Either way, it would probably used as a direct assault on undervalued, time consuming trade-ins as a bookstore. Heck, if I am feeling motivated, I will bring a friend or two along to write an article for IntoMobile to show the world what we did and how its going. Maybe even get the University of Minnesota’s paper “the daily” to tag along for the ride and see what people think of waiting in line, and how their future buying/trade-in process will be now that they are aware of apps like this,

I’d use Glyde to sell my old games quickly and get new ones on release date without going broke during college and if they had a book section, I would have done the same with textbooks. I also change phones often and Glyde would be a godsend to get my old (usually well-kept) hardware sold and to the hands of someone who would like it and use it well. Truth be told, I’m not that of a tech enthusiast and it’s generally okay for me not to have the newest model of the newest gadget around, so maybe I’ll be on the “buying side” in using Glyde. I still have to get an iPad, at least to get an idea how websites appear on such screen sizes (freelance designer here!); and with the not-so-rave reviews the third generation iPad is getting, I think I’ll be settling with an iPad 2, and I think Glyde would be a great site to find a nice deal for it. If I got this iPad I would use it as laptop replacement since I don’t have a laptop. I’ll type up my Novel in progress using the Pages app of the iWork Suite. Then I would use Ebook Creator to make my novel into an ebook for digital distribution. After I have a copy of the novel that I’m confident in created I would then launch a new Kickstarter campaign to fund the commission of an artist for the book’s cover and possibly an editor. I would also use the WordPress app for iOS to launch and manage a small site to support the book and sell it directly along with many other places to show off the book on the web.

In short, I’d use the iPad directly for creating and launching my novel or indirectly somehow to get it done. The paragraph above is the most idealistic way to do so but it should be possible to do.

I own a old DSLR canon 1000D and now got a new Nikon D3100. I was thinking to sell by old one and get an ipad for me for post processing using Photoshop. Now on the lat day of this competition m luckily here … now i really think that i can sell my 1000D and get a 50mm lens for me along with an Ipad for free. I guess god want me to cherish my dream so m here… I cannot afford all this stuff at time due to “I m not rich enough” factor so will be really grateful if wht i m hoping gets true, U guys will be my hero. And even if i dnt win it .. i want to appreciate u guys for helping the ones in need
