Possible Samsung Galaxy S III mock-up, details leaked

The leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III continue to roll out. The latest one comes from GSM Helpdesk which has a mock-up of the device and some new specs for us to ponder. According to the leak, the Galaxy S III will have a 4.7-inch display with 720×1280 resolution, which contradicts an earlier report from BGR that says the phone will have a  4.8-inch, 1080P screen.

The GSM Helpdesk report also claims the handset will have a 12-megapixel camera, 1750 mAh battery, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, and a weight of 125 grams. As The Verge points out, the mock-up shows a TouchWiz-skinned version of Gingerbread that originally appeared on promotional materials for the Galaxy S II. This could be an oversight by the marketing company, some of which reuse content for informal materials, or a sign that the leaked information is incorrect.

Samsung’s organizing an event for May 22nd, which coincides with the Galaxy III’s expected launch date. Hopefully, Samsung will unveil all the details about the Galaxy S III and finally put an end to all these rumors.
