A new, still unannounced HTC phone has been caught in China, with some reports indicating it’s a dual SIM device, which is a novelty for the Taiwanese handset maker. The soon to be launched HTC Wind (model T328w) is said to be a solid mid-range device, boasting such specs as 4-inch Super LCD WVGA screen, 1GHz single-core processor, Wi-Fi, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, Beats Audio technology, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 1,650 mAh battery. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show with HTC’s own Sense 4.0 UI singing on top.
According to ePrice and xda.cn, the HTC T328w will cost some 2,000 Chinese yuan, which translates into about $316. We’ve no idea whether this baby will ever be exported outside of China, even though we’re pretty confident there’s a demand for solid Android smartphones that can take two SIM cards. In any case, we’ll follow this story and let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
