Rogers Wireless has opened the floodgates and is now accepting pre-orders for the HTC One X, asking $169.99 for the device along a new three-year contract commitment. Canadian carriers are known for their way-too-long contracts but I guess not many folks mind that since that practice continues to live on all networks.

Anyway, Rogers is also saying this is a limited time offer, expiring on April 30th. After that date, I guess the price of the phone will go up or something. They can’t force you to sign a 4-year contract after all. 😉

And that’s not all. To further entice users to spend their hard-earned cash, they are organizing a contest in which you can win a HTC Prize Pack that includes a trip to the 2012 Much Music Video Awards.

Finally in case you wonder this version of the One X rocks Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor rather than the Nvidia Tegra 3…

Check out the HTC One X from this page at Rogers Wireless’ website.
