At the end of February Dolphin updated its Android web browser with voice-control capabilities – aka Dolphin Sonar. Now the iPhone version is getting the same treatment thanks to the partnership with Nuance Communications. Unfortunately, it’s not free to use (like on Android) and is rather sold as in-app purchase for 99 cents. That’s still pretty cheap and if you hate typing on a virtual keyboard – grab the useful add-on right now.
You know how it goes right? Instead of typing URLs and search queries, simply tap the microphone button, say what’s on your mind (or exact web address) and see the magic taking place on your iPhone screen: Dolphin Sonar will turn your text into words and guide you to the page you wanted to visit.
It’s important to add that this is an iPhone thing only with the iPad version most likely getting the same update in the near future…
