It’s May 8th and today’s the day that AT&T starts selling two new Windows Phone Mango handsets, the Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan II. On paper, the Titan II has the better specs, but the Lumia has attracted the most attention because Microsoft, Nokia and AT&T are pushing the handset with some big advertising dollars.

The Lumia has a 4.3-inch ClearBlack display with a 480 x 800 resolution, an 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 720P recording, 1-megapixel front camera, 512 MB of RAM, 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 16 GB  non-expandable storage and both 3G and LTE connectivity. The Lumia is available for $99 with a two-year customer agreement.

The Titan II has a 4.7-inch, 480 x 800 Super LCD display, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, 16-megapixel camera with 720P recording, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 16 GB non-expandable storage, and both 3G and LTE connectivity. The Titan II will set you back $199 with a two-year customer agreement.
