A few days ahead of schedule, Nokia released a software update that’ll address the data connectivity issue plaguing some Lumia 900 handsets. The update is available through the Zune software on the PC and the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac.

If they prefer not to apply the update, Nokia confirmed that customers still have the opportunity to swap out their Lumia 900 for an updated handset. Customers can also claim the $100 credit from AT&T. This credit offer is in effect until Midnight PST April 21st. Additional details, including step-by-step video instructions, are available on Nokia’s website.

The credit is automatic, so no need to claim anything. Every Lumia 900 will get the credit.
