Gameloft’s Dungeon Hunter 3 may have been greeted with less than stellar feedback from its hardcore fans for not only going the free-to-play route, but also taking the beloved mobile hack-n-slash RPG franchise and stripping it down to nothing more than an arena-style game. I personally rather enjoyed my experience, but one thing I felt was lacking in my review was a multiplayer component. It looks like Gameloft has finally filled in that missing piece as Dungeon Hunter 3 now has multiplayer.
The multiplayer update for Dungeon Hunter 3 allows up to four players join together in co-operative battle, or take on each other in PvP combat. Not only that, but the 1.1.1 update also contains a number of bug fixes and adjustments that include a new leaderboard optimization, a fix to key regeneration, and a number of other bug fixes.
The update is now live for the iOS version of Dungeon Hunter 3, with the same update being planned for the Android version.
