Although we haven’t talked about the Just 6 Weeks app when it was initially released, we decided to give it some space now that it’s updated. As you can figure from the app’s name (and the post’s title), it promises to get you in shape in just 6 weeks.
By working like a personal coach, it will help Android users build stamina at comfortable pace as the course of each workout is designed for 6 weeks for trainings thrice a week. As such, it can quickly drive beginners to 100 push-ups and 20 pull-ups, as well as the respective amount of squats, sit-ups and dips.
Each training consists mainly of 5 sets (in the last few weeks there are more) and the information on the number of push-ups is shown on the screen. Moreover, there are large numbers centered on the screen, signaling how many reps should be done. When you press the “Done” button, a countdown timer is set giving you time to relax before the next work out (though you can prolong this period by pressing “+30sec”). It’s pretty neat and really handy if you use it regularly…
Just 6 Weeks is free to download and comes with 14-day trial. There are several program to choose from, each costing 99 cents. Alternatively, you can purchase all programs at once for $2.99 (40% discount).
