HTC recently showcased an upcoming official case for its One X device here at Frequencies in Seattle, which looks like a pretty sexy accessory that doesn’t hold back on the handset’s design.
These interesting cases feature a nice mesh look and feel, that allow the color of the One X to show through the back. The result is just as good-looking as the One X itself, and adds a nice contrasting accent.
Only one of the cases were in sight here at Frequencies, but a slide was shown off that did confirm that there would be multiple colors (red, blue, black, white). An orange case was shown off briefly, which really brought a nice contrast to the white handset.
The cases are fairly thin but they make a nice impression. We wouldn’t say that it’s going to protect the handset from certain destruction if it takes a long fall, but it will at least meet its maker looking good. Or better, we should say.
No pricing or date has been set for the cases but we can imagine that they will be on their way soon.
