Canada’s Rogers Wireless has expectantly launched the HTC One X, offering it for $169.99 on a three-year contract. Alternatively there are 1 and 2-year contract options, which (as you can imagine) ask you to pay more upfront.

Rogers’ version of the device rocks Qualcomm’s dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, rather than NVidia Tegra 3 quad-core. Rest of the specs include a 4.7-inch 720p screen, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, 16GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, GPS, Beats Audio and so on. All in all, it’s probably the best Android smartphone you can get at this moment (until Samsung Galaxy S III launches that is).

Meanwhile, MobileSyrup reports another member of HTC’s One family is heading to Canada – One V, which is slated for Bell and Telus. According to a leaked document, Bell Mobility will launch the V on May 3rd, with Telus most likely following the example in the next couple of days. We’ll see…
