Samsung has started rolling out the Value Pack update to Galaxy Tab users in South Korea. We’re talking about the original 7-inch tablet which doesn’t rock a fast dual-core processor and which won’t get its serving of Ice Cream Sandwich. Rather, the Korean giant is pushing an Android 2.3-based software that comes with few features of Android 4.0 like Face Unlock, photo editor and the ability to capture an image while shooting video.
Similarly to the Galaxy S, this update too is available through Kies 2.0 (rather than over the air).
Aside from the original Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab, the value pack update will also be released for some other Samsung devices, including Galaxy M Style and Galaxy S Hoppin…
We’ve no idea when will the update be released for users living outside of Korea and can only hope we won’t have to wait for too long…
