Just when we told you that the Acer Iconia Tab A100 got its Android 4.0 update, we’ve heard that the company’s 10-incher, Iconia Tab A500, got the same treatment, too. I haven’t caught the official note from Acer — so we don’t know what’s all included — but folks all around Interwebs are reporting getting the new software.
In any case, we advise you to push the button the second you see that the update is available. Of course, you should have all your key information safely backed up, just in case, God forbid, something goes wrong. Moreover, you should make sure your battery is fully charged so that Iconia Tab A500 has enough juice to finish the process.
All set? Now connect to a fast Wi-Fi hotspot, check for updates and take it from there. Even if your tablet doesn’t see the new software, don’t worry – it’s coming any day now. 😉
