Evernote acquired a new app – Penultimate. Those of you with the iPad have probably already heard about it and chances are – you have it installed on your beloved tablet. The good news is that the popular digital handwriting application will keep its core functionality, users from all around the world learned to love. Even better news – it will get an improved Evernote integration, once again helping Evernote keep its status as the single most-popular note-taking app/service on the planet.
As for those of you who haven’t heard about Penultimate before, you should know it’s an iPad-only app that is designed to resemble a physical notebook. You can use a finger or stylus to take notes, choose from a variety of paper types, ink colors and line thicknesses. It costs a buck and it’s well worth the money.
You can check out what Evernote and Penultimate think about this acquisition, but before you click the “play” button, let me remind you this isn’t Evernote’s first acquisition – last year they’ve added Skitch to their family of products. And now the video…
