Clear Channel Media and Entertainment released an update to its popular iHeartRadio for iPad, featuring a completely refreshed design with new functionality. Available as a free download, the application now includes the following features:
- Custom Stations – allowing users to create their own personalized stations by simply entering an artist or song, and iHeartRadio will then create a station of similar music. You can draw from a massive catalog of nearly 14 million songs and 400,000 artists, while giving songs “Thumbs Up” and “Thumbs Down” to make the app learn what kind of music you like.
- Support for the Retina display on the new iPad, making the iHeartRadio app look awesome.
- Deeper Facebook integration so you can share listening activity with friends via their timelines and tap into each other’s musical tastes. At the same time, the Facebook integration also serves as a means to greater music discovery.
Overall, iHeartRadio gives you access to more than 800 broadcast radio and commercial-free digital-only stations from 150 cities, streamed in high-quality AAC format…
