Mobile advertising and publishing platform TapJoy is launching another fund to spur development of free-to-play mobile apps. Unlike its previous similar effort which was focused on helping companies port their apps to Android, this one targets both iOS and Android developers located in Asia. The amount of TapJoy’s investment is the same though, and it’s $5 million.
TapJoy on its end will provide select developers with working capital needed to get started, distribution for new user acquisition through its ad network, monetization options via TapJoy’s Mobile Value Exchange platform, consulting and optimization of all user acquisition campaigns, and real-time reporting.
Submissions are now open, and applications for the TapJoy Asia Fund will be accepted based on the quality of the gaming experience and the talent of its developers. Those interested in applying for the program should visit this page…
Finally, in case you’ve been sleeping under a rock, you should know TapJoy helps mobile app developers distribute and monetize their content, spanning more than 20,000 mobile applications and reaching more than 600 million mobile consumers. The company’s ad-funded payment platform and app discovery marketplace is used by thousands of leading app developers.
