Popular professional social media service LinkedIn has launched a Windows Phone application. The application went live over the weekend (May 12th, to be exact), and has already amassed some positive reviews on the Windows Phone Marketplace. It seems Windows Phone users are happy to finally have a client that is markedly better than using the mobile version of LinkedIn’s website.
Of course, there are some bugs with the 1.0 version release; the first market rating (as of this writing) notes that the “display is sideways” and that he keeps receiving “Oops, something happened” error messages. Of course, such bugs with initial releases are to be expected, and the overall impression from the market ratings is that LinkedIn has come up with an awesome application for Windows Phone users. LinkedIn allows you to view profiles, groups, jobs, and other company information from within the application, giving you access to all your business networking and development needs.
If you’re one of the 150 million people who use LinkedIn, and you happen to own a Windows Phone device, you can head over to the Windows Phone Marketplace to download the application for yourself. LinkedIn for Windows Phone is now available for free for all Windows Phone devices.
