Planetbeing, pod2g, and other members of the chronic dev team were at the Hack in the Box conference in Amsterdam where they announced the details on Absinthe 2.0. The jailbreak tool is now available to the public and includes an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1. If you’ve already jailbroken your device using RedSn0w for iOS 5.1.1, you can easily convert the tethered jailbreak to an untethered jailbreak using the Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether package. The package is available in Cydia.
