Samsung has been on fire ever since it announced its long anticipated Galaxy S III device, when Vodafone proclaimed it the “most pre-ordered Android smartphone ever.” Today the company launched its new flagship phone in 28 countries including the UK, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia and parts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Apparently, all isn’t well with Galaxy S III handsets, as the Korean based manufacturer has reported some issues going on with its special pebble blue colored paint. This issue might affect pre-orders of the pebble blue handset. Sammy explained the pebble blue problem in this statement:
“Samsung’s Galaxy SIII Pebble Blue version comes with a newly invented blue colour and special hyper-glaze material. In order to meet the highest internal quality standards and to provide the best quality Galaxy SIII to customers, a short supply of Pebble Blue version is expected in some regions in the next 2-3 weeks.Samsung is working hard to ensure that customers will get the Pebble Blue coloured devices as soon as possible.”
Although this is bad news for some, those who pre-ordered the ceramic white version should’t be affected, as devices will continue to roll out as planned. You can’t get too mad at Samsung for trying to correct an issue before devices get into the hands of its owners. Better now then never, right?
Are you one of the people affected by this delay?
