Today’s the day the Samsung Galaxy S III lands in 28 countries including the UK, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia and parts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. By the time the summer is in full swing, the Android handset will be available from 296 service providers across 145 countries worldwide.
The US launch has yet to be announced, but rumors suggest it will land on retailer shelves starting June 20. The flagship handset will include a 4.8-inch HD SuperAMOLED 720×1280 display, Quad-core Samsung Exynos processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM and a wide range of connectivity options.
