A Game of Phones – What house is your favorite mobile OS?

Game of Thrones season 2 finished with a bang, as expected, this past Sunday. If you haven’t seen the show, you’re missing out but we decided to liken some of the houses to some of the most popular mobile operating systems around today. It’s all in fun (obviously), so feel free to drop in your take in the comments below!

 

 

 

iPhone/iOS – Lannister – The king of the realm – Born of incest and secrecy, the Lannister’s are charming and ruthless. They hold some Starks hostage (with patents), yet still retain a very high-class appeal. The most wealthy family in all the kingdoms, respected and feared, the Lannister’s are Lions – Hear them Roar – Or they will sue you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Android – Stark – Locked in a constant battle with the Lannisters, the Starks are often mocked by their northern way of living (geekiness) , but there is a loyal following that support their cause. Just as stubborn as the Lannister’s, the Starks will fight just as ruthlessly for their cause, with dire wolves at their sides.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BlackBerry – Targaryen – Once ruled the land but was killed off by the Lannister’s and Starks. However, across the narrow sea and some time away is the promise of a return from the Mother of Dragons (BlackBerry 10) – But all is uncertain at this point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Windows Mobile/ Windows Phone - Baratheon- Also once the rulers of the land, the Baratheon’s have lost most power to the Lannisters and interests have waned. Even with a larger army than the Lannisters(variety of hardware), the Baratheon’s will likely never take the throne again. Unless that red priestess chick decides to birth another shadow demon thing… Windows Phone 8?

 

 

 

That’s our take. So what about the other houses? Would Symbian be House GreyJoy? There’s something about the saying, “What is dead may never die” that seems to ring true with that OS. Either way, leave your takes in the comments below!
