Yup, we’ve seen this coming and now the white version of Optimus LTE 2 is launched in LG’s own backyard. The press release doesn’t mention any other markets, leaving us wondering when the rest of the world will be able to get the “world’s first smartphone with 2GB of RAM,” too.
However, LG did use the media attention surrounding the white beauty launch to share some cool figures, saying that they’ve managed to move 150,000 black Optimus LTE 2 units in the first 10 days, making it one of the fastest selling mobile phones for the company. Moreover, LG also mentioned that they are now selling 410,000 smartphones in South Korea per month, 330,000 of which are LTE-enabled. Pretty awesome, though we’re not sure they can that easily repeat the success in the western hemisphere. Moreover, I would assume Samsung’s figures will be even more impressive…
