One thing that didn’t make the WWDC 2012 keynote address but is appearing on Apple’s website is the redesign of its major stores in iOS 6: the App Store, iTunes Store, and iBookstore.

There’s not much to say except all three look brand new with updated home pages that put new apps in the App Store, media content in the iTunes Store and books in the iBookstore up front and center. Anything you preview is now saved under the History button and syncs across your devices via iCloud, which means you can start shopping on the iPad, put it down, then pick up where you left off on your iPhone. You can also buy any content from any store directly from within apps in iOS 6.

We’ll be hearing more about this once developers get their hands on the iOS 6 beta available today, so stay tuned!
