Presuming you own an Android smartphone (rather than the iPhone) and that you also buy your tickets using Songkick Concerts’ website (rather than Ticketmaster), you’ll be glad to know that their mobile app is now available to download from Google Play.

Similarly to the iOS app, the one made for Android device also scans your music library, Google Music account, or Last.fm app to not only determine what kind of music you like, but also to create a personalized concert calendar just for you. Moreover, the application can also tune-in to your Facebook and Pandora account to include even more bands to the list.

When that part of the process is done, you’ll get a calendar with upcoming concerts, each of which contains a full line-up, venue, map, while providing you with the ability to compare the best ticket offers. From here, you can also invite friends to concerts, and add them to your Google calendar.

Of course, you can also browse all events in any city worldwide, and include additional locations (aside from your home address) for cities you are interested in or plan to visit.

Finally, there’s the handy homescreen widget for recently added events so you don’t miss out on your concerts. Pretty cool and something frequent concert goers will definitely appreciate. Check out Songkick’s app and let us know what you think about it…
