Google is now letting select group of developers respond to user comments posted on Google Play. As far as we’ve understood, this capability will initially be available to companies and individuals with the “Top Developer” badge with the plan to expand the scheme and let every single developer publishing an app in Google Play do the same.
Thus far we haven’t caught a single reply to a user’s comment though I can’t say I’ve been browsing games and apps that heavily. It’s likely that some replies are already out there and if you happen to spot one, please let us know using our very own comments form below.
Overall I think this is an important step forward to establish a better communication between developers and end users. Hopefully, we’ll see less spammy comments in the future, with developers also being able to help users using the reply feature…
