Nokia Camera Extras now available for Lumia smartphone owners in the U.S. and China

Nokia Camera Extras is now available in the Windows Phone Marketplace from where Lumia smartphone owners in the U.S. and China can download it free of charge, with folks in other parts of the world getting the same treatment later in July.

As far as I’ve understood — couldn’t try it myself — after installing Nokia Camera Extras, you won’t see a new icon; rather new options will appear in the Camera Settings. Here’s what you get from there:

  • Smart Group Shot – which allows you to take group shots in just one attempt by choosing the best faces from a burst
  • Action Shot – for capturing fast-moving action shots with just one click
  • Panorama – makes it easy to capture panorama shots by finding the image in the sequence
  • Self-timer – so you can set up your Lumia on a stand and get yourself into photos

Now search for “Nokia Camera Extras” in the Windows Phone Marketplace or hit the link below to get the new features. Again, it’s an app for Nokia Lumia devices, only…
