Google just dropped some much needed info about the Play Store at its annual I/O conference. First, the Play Store has reached the staggering 600,000 app mark and an impressive 2 billion downloads. But the really important news came when Google announced that the Play Store will finally support a Movie and TV shows purchase option, including individual episodes or entire seasons (like Apple and Microsoft does with ‘Season Pass’). Magazine support is also coming to Google Play today, allowing users to access their favorite subscriptions.
