Springpad, which calls itself the “smart notebook app,” announced new Facebook integration features that apparently make organizing and sharing “likes” easier than ever. As that’s usually the case with Springpad, it will try to make your notes smarter, pulling relevant content from all around the web to show it alongside the stuff you and your friends “like” on Facebook. Speaking of “stuff” that you’ll see alongside the Facebook content, you can expect to get content related to movies, TV shows, books, music and restaurants which Springpad gets from sites like Rotten Tomatoes, OpenTable and Foursquare, to name just a few sources.
In addition, Springpad has also added the option to share Springpad notebooks (either entire notebooks or individual items) on your Facebook timeline to give friends even more access to your interests and recommendations.
Guess Springpad users (more than 3 million of them) will appreciate the new capability. Personally I never managed to fall in love with their “smart note” concept, but hey – that’s just me. 😉
