Acer’s all-new A700 Android tablet is now available in Canada, where interested folks can get the 32GB model in black or silver for $449.99. That cash gets you one of the best Ice Cream Sandwich tablets released to date that comes with 1920×1200 pixels LED-backlit display and NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. In addition, there’s Dolby Mobile 3, Wi-Fi connectivity, HDMI out, 1GB of RAM, microSD card slot and a powerful 9800mAh battery that provides enough juice to keep the A700 working for up to 10.5 hours.

The tablet is available at national electronics retailers in the Canada, and potential customers can also get the original portfolio case for $39.99. The mentioned case prevents slipping on surfaces while allowing convenient access to all the connectors and ports.

Now it’s fair to add that Acer A700 isn’t exactly a competitor to the newly unveiled Nexus 7 — it has a bigger screen and more storage space. The question, however, is – do you care to have those bells and whistles or would rather spend less on a smaller device. It’s your call… ;)
