You can’t help but love today’s mobile hackers. Only one day after Jellybean has been released for the Nexus devices, XDA-Developers’ forum member “tgascoigne” managed to pull it out from the Nexus 7 tablet and port the software to the international version of HTC One X (which also has NVidia Tegra 3 CPU).
Expectantly, not everything is working out of box, but the core system is there and it’s pretty stable (though it crashes from time to time). Wi-Fi, radio, audio and camera won’t respond to your commands, but that will be fixed soon when the first Alpha version will be released – tgascoigne said it’s coming “fairly soon.”
As usual, we can’t really suggest anyone to try this out at home as you may seriously mess things up if you don’t what you’re doing. Still that shouldn’t stop you from following the progress at XDA-Developers…
And before I let you go, check out a short demo video of Jellybean running on HTC One X. Here comes…

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
