Kobo for Android updated with new tablet interface, speed improvements, bug fixes, 2-page landscape view

Popular ebook reading app/service Kobo updated its Android app to make it better sing along tablets. Version 4.1 introduces a number of changes including the brand new homescreen that makes it easier to navigate through bigger ebook collections. Actually, the whole UI has been revamped — along with an updated reading menu and page layout — allowing users to easily go from one part of the app to the other. Moreover, those of you with bigger tablets (with a 10-inch screen) will benefit from the two-page layout view, a feature that has been available for iPad for quite some time now. Finally, there’s the ability to rate your books as well as share them with friends and/or followers on popular social networks.

It’s a fairly important update so we suggest every Kobo user to “push the button” in case he or she still hasn’t done so. Tap the Google Play icon on your Android device, and take it from there.
