We know Google will make sure pretty much every part of the world gets to try its first own-branded tablet – Nexus 7. Customers in UK will be able to get the 7-inch tablet starting from July 19th, when Dixons Group-owned Currys will start offering the 16GB model for 199 GBP, which translates into some $310. Yeah, taxes are higher on the other side of the Pond. If you want to be among the first ones to get the Nexus 7, you can already reserve your unit from this page.

Of course, Dixons won’t be the only company to sell Google’s tablet with The Carphone Warehouse also promising to get it in late July. Nothing too specific though I guess they’ll get it few days after Dixons. As for the price, there’s no point to wait an additional day or two – it will be the same 200 pounds for the 16 gig model.

Finally, I’ve no doubts other retailers will join the pack in no time at all, leaving you a ton of options to choose from. Hopefully, the increased competition will also slash few pounds from the price. We’ll see…
