Samsung’s first Android smartphone with built-in projector is now available in the UK, with Expansys asking 394.99 GBP (about $613) for the unlocked, SIM-free device. At the moment I’m writing this, there were few units left in the stock, so if you badly want the Galaxy Beam – you better act quickly.

If you recall, this isn’t exactly the most-powerful device made by Samsung but it’s the only such phone that runs Android and can beam an image or video from the screen to the wall. Specs wise, the Beam has a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 8GB of built-in storage and a 2000mAh battery which is pretty good if you don’t use the projector. Otherwise, I doubt it can last for more than couple of hours. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show out of box but we’re sure an Ice Cream Sandwich update will be released later this year.

So if all this sounds appealing to you, proceed to this page at Expansys’ website and take it from there. ;)
