Good news for those of you considering to grab the Samsung Galaxy S III, with Amazon Wireless offering Sammy’s superphone for less (than what the carriers are asking for). AT&T’s 16GB models — both white and blue — are available for $189.99, while Sprint’s blue version (also with 16GB) could be yours for $149.99!

As you probably already know, we’re talking about the best Android smartphone released to date, the one that comes with a large 4.8-inch 720p screen, LTE connectivity support (in addition to 3G and Wi-Fi), 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2-megapixel front-facing one, Qualcomm’s snappy 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show.

Thanks for the info Mr. Belic, those price points are highly competitive when compared with those directly offered by the carriers.  Is there any hardware, software or firmware distinction between the AT&T models and the one from Sprint other than the SIM card on the AT&T units?
