Samsung keeps releasing new apps and services. Their latest gig, The Official Top 40 Chart app, is launched on the Galaxy Ace II but will also be available for other devices through Google Play. Those buying a Samsung Galaxy device will even see the app embedded onto the homescreen.

Powered by mobile music company MusicQubed, the application delivers unlimited plays of all the tracks in the Official Top 40 Singles Chart. The app downloads and caches tracks overnight during off-peak network times, resulting in no streaming, no interruptions and no adverts. Moreover, there are daily chart updates, celebrity news updates, “What’s Hot” bonus tracks and the ability to connect to Facebook and Twitter (so you can share the tunes you’re listening).

The Official Top 40 Chart app is available as a free download and comes with two-month trial period after which interested users can continue using it for just 1 GBP per week. Pretty cool, don’t you agree?
