Toshiba AT200, you know the device which at one point was called “world’s thinnest tablet,” is getting the Ice Cream Sandwich update as we speak. Reports from around the Interwebs are saying that users in the Netherlands are among the first ones to get the fresh software, so we think the rest of the world will follow shortly. If you still didn’t see it, you can manually check by going to “Settings,” then “About tablet” and then “System updates.” Who knows – maybe there’s a frozen candy waiting for you, too.
Aside from bringing the latest features of Android 4.0.3, the update will also make the tablet run faster, with scrolling and application load times being vastly improved…
In a nutshell, if you do own the AT200, you’ll want to check for the update and proceed with it as soon as you can. Just make sure you’re battery is (almost) full and that you’re connected to a fast Wi-Fi hotspot to make the download faster.
