According to Telstra, HTC is “preparing” Jelly Bean updates for the One XL and One S. The information doesn’t come as a surprise since all of us expect handset makers to constantly update their products but it does provide us with a sense of relief and hope that owners of these two particular smartphones won’t have to wait for ages to get the latest version of Android.

Just after the Jelly Bean was announced, the Taiwanese company issued a generic press release saying it’s “excited” about it, wowing to support it. The new information isn’t much more specific but it gets us (and HTC) in the right direction, keeps the ball rolling and gives us something to write about on slow news days. We’ll make sure to follow the Jelly Bean update story and let you know as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
