iA Writer is one of the more popular minimalistic word processing application for iOS and OSX. Developer Information Architects have just released an update for both versions of the iA Writer application, bringing a full browser that allows you to browse documents stored in the iCloud, and gives you the ability to create folders by dragging two files on top of each other, as well as the ability to organize your iCloud folders from within the application.

The update also brings what Information Architects with responsive typography, meaning that no matter whether you’re using iA Writer on the new iPad or the now-antiquated iPhone 3G, the typeface will always look good. Information Architects have also disclosed that they are already hard at work on the next update, and that update will focus on further visual changes.

The iA Writer update is live on the App Store, and if you haven’t yet given iA Writer a go, the app is a steal at $0.99. We highly suggest you give it a go.
