Gmail just updated its app for Android with a few more enhancements to all devices rocking Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and up. In version 4.1.2, users can expect added support for 7-inch tablets along with the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. From what we’ve noticed, these changes aren’t cosmetic when it comes to the user interface. Instead, they seem like minor tweaks under the hood. Regardless, this is still a much needed upgrade for those out there with the Nexus 7 tablet. If you have an Android device pushing Android 4.0+, then you can head over to the Google Play store to download the application now.
